the old wordpress had this built in, although I don’t know if anybody used it, but me. I used it a lot, so I’ve added a plugin for it. here’s how it works:
bookmark this link, and then when your at a page you want to blog about, click the bookmark and it’ll take care of the rest.

I’ll be in Fayetteville from now until December 1st. Then I’ll be back on the afternoon of the 19th and leave again on the 26th.
Also a little bird told me it might be worth being in Denver to ring in the new year.
Anybody else gonna be in/near Fayetteville?

A year after coming up with the idea, a wasted summer thinking about thinking about it, and two months underground, I’ve finished my “paper.” Check it out; help my hit counter.
Towards the end, after nights and weekends toiling in obscurity, I was becoming paranoid about preemption. A few people had been dancing around my thesis, but no one had said it directly. So, I uploaded my paper to on SSRN, the industry standard for forthcoming scholarship in law. I’m not sure if this officially resolves my preemption problem (there’s surprising little on the Internet about self-publishing and preemption), but in my mind, it does.
In any case, it’ll be published in a legit TBD academic law journal in spring 2009, so let me know if you have thoughts, criticisms or comments. Because after that, it’s set in stone.

Lebron is so nasty. Check out the top ten from yesterday, in particular play #4… holy moly.
Joe Johnson and the Hawks are undefeated at 4-0.
Iverson and C. Billups have swapped teams.
Amare Stoudemire is back at 100% and throwing 49 points down on teams like the Pacers.
Dwight Howard might actually be Superman.

Finally, living the part of a coastal elitist paid off. In happily liberal Seattle, I stumbled into an impromptu street party at the intersection of Pike (”the fun street”) and Broadway on my way home last night. (video here and here; pictures here)
It’s impossible to convey the kind or level of raw, unbridled emotion on display last night. Thousands of adults– supposedly mature adults– kissing, crying. Like children, complete strangers embracing together unguarded optimism. I’ll never look at my neighbors the same again.
The news helicopters loomed over my building for a little later than I would have liked. But last night was a night I won’t ever forget.

As of Friday at about 10:00p.m. I am an engaged gentleman. Not necessarily engaged in political discourse, discussions involving the word “nanoscience”, or a grappling match. No, I’m engage to be married.
Her name is Lauren Vanderlip, and she’s a 2L at Oklahoma Law. We met via my friend Amira, who some of you may remember from UA.
Since we both have friends strewn across the globe, we’re recording a short announcement/introduction video this weekend to send out. I’ll keep you posted once it’s posted.
We haven’t set a date yet, but I suspect some time next summer.
We’re thinking CO for the honeymoon* so Ben’s roommate density theory is panning out. I guess that would make me an orbiting electron.
*Yes, I know that I’m basically Zach Johnson, Jr. Going to a Big Ten university for grad school, marrying a girl named Lauren, honeymooning in Colorado. I’m sure dancing on ice and drunken blog posts are soon to follow.
